Graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2007 receiving a BSc (Hons) in Forensic Chemistry.
After graduating He had a short spell at Glaxo Smith Kline before
starting as a Bioanalytical scientist at ICON development solutions
where He used HPLC and LC-MS/MS to analyse small molecules from a range
of different samples. After spending 9 months at ICON
He then moved back home to work at Sellafield Ltd in the analytical
department analysing environmental and product samples using primarily
ICP-OES and XRF.
Joined the Gardner group in November 2010 as an PhD student looking at
stem cell differentiation when introduced to some natural and synthetic
retinoids using infrared-micro spectroscopy.
